Design Services

Bennett Packaging and Displays specializes in the conception, development, and production of on-shelf and off-shelf display packaging. These in-store programs are designed to drive incremental sales and build brand awareness for consumer packaged goods manufacturers across the United States.

Structural Design of Durable Shipping Cartons

Bennett Packaging and Displays offers comprehensive structural design and testing of corrugated shipping cartons to ensure your products arrive safely to the end user. We provide customers with CAD (computer aided design) samples and prototypes cut from Kongsberg tables. We also perform multiple tests so that our clients have the highest confidence in the cartons we design and produce for them. Tests include:

  • CAPE testing (computer assisted package evaluation)
  • Compression testing
  • Ship testing
  • Board grade analysis to determine board requirements
  • Cobb testing
  • Drop testing

As an added benefit, we offer carton consolidation and line audits to identify cost cutting opportunities. Our customers rely on us to be their source for current data on industry trends and the latest developments.

Eye-Catching Retail Packaging and In-Store Graphics

Our designers have deep expertise in designing eye-catching and durable point-of-purchase displays, retail packaging, and in-store signage. We have become particularly adept at handling complicated assignments requiring problem-solving solutions. We design and develop prototypes from the conceptual stage through completion of full-scale mock-ups for presentation. Whether our client is a retail vendor, direct manufacturer, or distributor, our design team tailors the creative execution to meet our client's specific needs and deadlines. See our Design Showcase.

Our experience in working daily with the buyers from the large retailers like Wal-Mart gives us an advantage with our clients, since we already know the buyers' requirements. Because we produce – in-house—all aspects of design and prototype development, we can accommodate changes rapidly to meet tight deadlines. Our clients can be back in front of their buyers or bosses within hours, not days or weeks, with fully mocked-up samples or changes.

Reduce "Time to Market"

Most design centers don't have access to their own manufacturing facility. We do, which greatly benefits our customers. Seamless integration with our manufacturing and warehousing facilities promotes efficiency, cost savings, and one-stop shopping. Our integrated, turn-key manufacturing methods can take days, weeks and even months off "time to market" compared to other design firms who have to rely on third-party vendors for manufacturing, pack-out, and distribution.

In summary, Bennett Packaging and Displays welcomes the complicated project and the creative project, as well as the less glamorous but vital shipping carton designs. We are proud to provide, in-house, all phases of package engineering (structural design, graphic design, prototype construction, and structural testing) for all types of corrugated packaging (shipping containers and innerpak, point-of-purchase displays, corrugated on-shelf and off-shelf retail packaging, pallet programs).
